Where are you? Where are my friends?

Following twitter - what are you doing right now, now we have brightkite - where are you right now? You can sign up at http://www.brightkite.com. Right now, it’s in beta. It works with invites, I still have some left if someone is interested.

You can check in all over the world, and tell your friends where you are right now. You can have updates on your friends on mobile (USA only I guess) and mail. You can post notes and/or photos with your location. If this takes off, this is gonna be a number one social networking app, specially with the iphone we have now - and more will have in the short future. You can see who checked in close to you, let’s say in the area (4km) or neighbourhood (2km), block (200meters) or very close (20meters). A really cool feature that is. You can also see what’s happening around you.

It’s still in beta, so brightkite developers if you read this, here’s one thing I’d like to see implemented. Would it be possible if 3 friends are on the exact same location(e.g work) , to view them all 3 on the map, now you can only see one. Or at least indicate there’s more then one friend on that location. This is somewhat the point of the app I guess, to see who’s close to you. Ok you can state that you should now if someone is in the exact same place as yourself, but that’s not always the case.

You can always add Ploem as a friend. But right now, I wish this:

A relaxing holiday at Honolulu…*dreams*

Thanks Indie, hey Televic Education!

This is for everyone who’s involved with Indie Group, it’s written in dutch, I’m leaving my company Indie Group, the Bussiness Unit for Education is bought by Televic and is now called Televic Education. It’s a letter to Indie to thank them for the given opportunities.
